Says it all! Downloading ruled when streaming wasn’t feasible. But once streaming comes into play, my opinion is that most of the download market will be split. I love listening to my favorite songs but after the first few days of assembling the collection, they are now seldom transmitted from the FLASH universe they occupy. That is not to say that I will delete them from there anytime soon. But, I still listen to my car radio and watch TV everyday … a lot.
Wow – a picture is worth a thousand words. Music is always changing – to quote KCentric from ccMixter. Can we evolve with technology without resorting to lawsuits to prevent progress? May innovation win.
The thing that this dialog misses is changes in the nature of the music. For example, the way that the ccMixter site influences the kind of music that community members make.

Says it all! Downloading ruled when streaming wasn’t feasible. But once streaming comes into play, my opinion is that most of the download market will be split.
